Test Burning Soy Wax Jars
Everyone says "Test burn your candles". Great, but what should you look for when testing burning? I have created a video that shows how to evaluate a burning candle. This is specifically used on jars that are at least 2 inches deep. If a candle is less than 2" deep you will usually want to have a full melt pool (or close to a full melt pool) on the first burn. If your candle is more than 2" deep you don't usually want the melt pool to get all the wax to the edge.
