CDN wicks, otherwise known as KST wicks, were invented in Germany for use in stearic acid candles. They are the same size as corresponding CD wicks but they are soaked in a different finishing solution that helps to neutralize the acidic properties of natural waxes. You may find that a CDN will burn out an inch further then its regular CD counter part. For instance, the CD18 will burn out to about 3" in EL soy container with Vanilla Voodoo but a CDN18 will burn 4" in diameter in the EL soy container!!!! Due to increased efficiency in burning CDN wicks may burn cleaner in natural waxes.12 inches long make these CD wicks good for pillars, votives or containers. Flutter Dyes are the cutest dye on the market! They also make replicating your colors as easy as one, two, three. Using 3 Flutter Dyes per pound of wax will give you our "base" shade. The base color is the shade that the Flutter Dye was created to represent. Dye Schnibbles are small random sized pieces of dyes that use all natural bases to hold the color. Schnibbles are mostly just dried dye.  If there is any base to stabilize the color it is a natural wax base. Great for soy or paraffin! Most are also wonderful in gel wax.  See list below. In our quest to have the best products available our dyes come from many different sources. Some of our Schnibble line were formally called Dye Crystals and some are totally new to us. Dye Schnibbles are very economical. Only .025oz per pound of wax will dye your candles to a very deep shade. Half ounce bags will dye about 10X -20X more then dye diamonds!!! Weight is the best way to use this product. A micro scale is wonderful to help replicate colors. Dye Color Chart is being worked on.   Fluorescent Blue and Fluorescent Pink can clog wicks.  Use sparingly and test. Hello Yellow looks orange in the schnibble but is yellow in the candle.

  Wick tabs attach to the bottom of a wick to give support and help to safely extinguish a candle flame if the customer does not stop burning their candle.  Wick tabs also have the added benefit of providing a surface for glue dots or hot glue to be applied in order for the wick to be held securely in place.  Extra tabs are a must when our wicks are ordered.  Simply cut long wicks and re-tab remaining wick. Wick tabs can be used with wicks for containers, votives or pillars.  Any type of wick, such as square braid, flat braid, CD, CDN, Zinch or HTP wicks can be used with wick sustainers. Size - 15 mm diameter x 3 mm high neck with a 3 mm hole. Our wick tabs have a slightly larger hole which allows greater ease of wicking.  Simply insert primed wick into neck hole and pinch shut with a pliers. Another name for a wick tab is wick sustainer or eyelet.

In order to easily re-light wick simply extinguish by re-coating wick with liquid wax. We recommend using a small spoon. Want to read more about our testing process?***Wave Wicks are all natural.  As such there may be times after re-lighting that the candle will not stay lit.  You CAN get the candle to stay lit but it may require a bit of work.  First, make sure the wick was primed.  Second, make sure to put it out by putting wax over it.  Third, if it is not staying let trim off blacked wick and tilt candle to allow a bit of wax to move away from the wick. If you are worried about this then Wave Wicks may not be for you. ***Recommended results obtained with Golden Wax 464.  As with all wicking our results are merely a starting point for your own testing.  As with any candle wax, scent or jar differences will affect your burning outcome.  As with anything new it is always suggested to purchase small amounts to test with before purchasing larger amounts.
