Flutter Dyes - Candle Cocoon, LLC
Flutter Dyes from $1.25
Flutter Dyes are the cutest dye on the market! They also make replicating your colors as easy as one, two, three. Using 3 Flutter Dyes per pound of wax will give you our "base" shade. The base color is the shade that the Flutter Dye was created to represent. But you can go darker or lighter to achieve many more shades.  If you want a lighter shade simply cut the Flutter Dye in half.  FREE Download -Flutter Dye Color Mixing Chart  - Part 1  Part 2 Rather purchase a hard copy?  Here it is. Dye Snibbles - candle-cocoon
Dye Schnibbles from $2.95
Dye Schnibbles are small random sized pieces of dyes that use all natural bases to hold the color. Schnibbles are mostly just dried dye.  If there is any base to stabilize the color it is a natural wax base. Great for soy or paraffin! Most are also wonderful in gel wax.  See list below. Most Schnibbles do not cloud gel wax!  Tested at 1.50oz per pound (you would never need this much!)  Most pictures taken at .025oz/lb-.25oz/lb.  Always test in small batches prior to use to ensure results.  Using less results in higher clarity.  Pictures used to get an idea of color tone.  Dye Schnibble Name Percent Clear in Medium Density Gel Wax Black! Combine Dye Schnibbles for endless color variation! Just remember to keep track of your color recipes so that you can replicate your colors! I recommend using UV to keep the color beautiful on store shelves. And to keep track of color you can pour a small sample and tape it in a notebook for future reference. Bags are 1/2 ounce, 4 ounce size or pound sizes. This product does not leave those nasty dye spots that are often associated with dye chips. In our quest to have the best products available our dyes come from many different sources. Some of our Schnibble line were formally called Dye Crystals and some are totally new to us. Dye Schnibbles are very economical. Only .025oz per pound of wax will dye your candles to a very deep shade. Half ounce bags will dye about 10X -20X more then dye diamonds!!! Weight is the best way to use this product. A micro scale is wonderful to help replicate colors. Dye Color Chart is being worked on.   Fluorescent Blue and Fluorescent Pink can clog wicks.  Use sparingly and test. Hello Yellow looks orange in the schnibble but is yellow in the candle.
