All Natural Multi Use Liquid Soap Base - New - Candle Cocoon, LLC
All Natural Multi Use Liquid Soap Base - New from $1.99
Multi Use Liquid Soap Base: Candle Cocoon's All Natural Multi-Use Liquid Soap Base is a product that is gentle on the skin.  It is sold in a concentrated form.  While it can be used as is, the suggestion is to dilute up to 50% or more for foaming soap.  One recipe calls for 20% soap base with 80% distilled water. You can also add scents or other liquid additives. The foaming action is achieved by using a foaming soap dispenser.  If additional thickness is required Sodium Chloride can be added as a natural reaction will occur to increase viscosity.  Due to the high pH (>10) of this product it is sold free from preservatives.  Addition of other additives such as butters, water, fragrance or other products may affect pH and preservatives should be used where needed. Addition of oil based additives such as some fragrance oils (FOs):  In order to incorporate oil based products into the Multi Use Liquid Soap Base the addition of a polyglyceryl is recommended.  Polyglyceryl-4-Caprate is found to be extremely effective and gentle on the skin. Most essential oils (EOs) are made using an alcohol or water base of some kind which readily incorporates into water-based products.  Natrasorb BATH may also be used to help evenly disperse scented products throughout product but may cause clouding. All Natural Multi Use Liquid Soap Ingredients: Water Glycerine (from coconut and olive oil) Potassium Cocoate Potassium Olivate Oleic Acid (from vegetable souce) Naturally phthalate and paraben free.   Common Uses:Hand soaps, body washes, face wash foams and many other specialized applications including shampoos.  Sample Formulas: Body Wash - 80% All Natural Multi Use Liquid Soap Base/20% Water  (scent or other liquid additives) as a part of the water component.  Foaming Soap - 20% All Natural Multi Use Liquid Soap Base /80% Water (scent or other liquid additives) as a part of the water component.  Little Blue pH meter can help determine if you will need a preservative.  If pH is under 10 a preservative is probably needed. Please do your own product testing. Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate - Full Candle Cocoon scent stabilization at 1% usage even after 48 hours.  Tested with full strength All Natural Multi Use Liquid Soap Base or cut up to 80% with distilled water. They are subject to change as they are constantly evolving and changing due to the availability of newer and better materials, marketplace demands, etc. In order to provide our customers with various desired features such as ease of remelting and re-batching, finished product final appearance, etc. we may or may not use small amounts of the following (or similar) materials: Bio Propylene Glycol (made entirely from vegetable glycerine) This material is often omitted but we have also listed it as an ingredient as larger amounts are sometimes used.  *****Excluded in FREE soap bases: Cocamidopropylamine Oxide (made from renewable vegetable sources), Disodium Sulfosuccinate (made from renewable vegetable sources), Cocamidopropyl Betaine (made from renewable vegetable sources). ***All the above materials are biodegradable. SLS or SLES are not used. ***Vegan!   ***NOTE***Melt and Pour Soap base may arrive a bit brittle due to freezing in transport.  We are in WI so there is nothing we can do about that.  Chances are very good your base will have frozen at some point.  The base will be fine.  You should test a small amount before making a larger batch by heating in the microwave and cutting.  If brittle from freezing - Single Pour Bar Soap (not cutting from a loaf) -  No special treatment is necessary.  Can be used "as is" and the finished bar will be harder than normal/last longer. Or you can add 3-5% water or glycerine to bring the soap back to original texture. Loaf Soap (Will be sliced)  - To soften the soap for slicing add water or glycerine at about 7% - 10% for nice slices.  You can use an even higher amount but test prior to putting in colors/fragrance since you can always remelt add more soap etc.  Remember adding more glycerine will increase sweating but also makes a more moisturizing soap.
