Package Delievery Delays - What Can be Done?

📦 Package Delays — What You Can Do

Hi there! As a fellow small business owner who also deals with shipping, I want to share a few insights that might help if your package is taking longer than expected.

If your package shipped promptly, the delay is likely due to the third-party customer carrier selected at checkout—often USPS or UPS. If USPS Ground Advantage was chosen to save on shipping costs, please note that this service can take up to 9 business days, and lately, it’s been trending even slower.

Here’s what you can do:

Check Your Tracking Page (tracking supplied when shipped, check your trash if you don't see it) - Click the boxes that allow for delivery updates. Oddly enough, this sometimes helps “kick” the package forward in the system. Many customers are seeing “Out for Delivery” or “Delivered” notices before the package actually arrives—so staying active on the tracking page can help.

Call Your Local Post - Office Don’t use the 1-800 number—Google your nearest USPS location and call their direct line. Sometimes packages get stuck in a driver’s truck or are delayed due to local delivery quirks. Only you, the customer, can provide the specific info they need (like hidden doors or tricky driveways).

Notify the Company - While the shipping carrier is responsible for delivery, it’s still helpful to let the company know. They can’t assist if they’re unaware, and they’ll likely want to track the issue—especially if it’s been more than 10 days.

We all want your package to arrive as quickly as possible, and I’m truly sorry it’s taking so long. Delays are never fun, but a quick call and a few clicks can go a long way.

Wishing you speedy delivery and smooth resolution!
