Don't judge Candle Cocoon's scents in the bottle.  Get them in the finished product! Sniffing has it's place.  Flowers, gas leaks or even stinky socks, these are all things that should be sniffed.  I would say to sniff some with extreme caution.  And while I understand the desire to sniff new candle making fragrance oils in the bottle I hope that judgement can be reserved until the oil is actually incorporated in the wax (or diffuser or bath and body).  The reason for this is because fragrance oils should be much more concentrated in the bottle so that when they...

Making a Stripped Advent "Wreath" Candle

                                            4 layer stripped candle using Advent colors.   My family is making these as a service project.  They will be sold at the church market and the money made will be donated.   Common advent candles are 4 different candles (3 purple and 1 pink) but we are making a non-traditional advent "wreath" candle.  The lid will also be painted green to give it more of an wreath feel and of course the scent is Winter Woodlands Whisper which is a deep rich pine, spruce and fir tree! Bottles of scent may all look pretty much the same, but what goes into their composition can drastically change their performance and ultimately their cost.  You may think you are getting a deal with a cheap scent but it may actually be costing you more!  More in dollars and more in quality of the burn.
