Rainbow in a Jar! - Real Candle Making - Really Easy - About 2 Hours.
$39.95 - Make One Large 16oz Candle (burns about 150 hours!!!). Ages 14+ With adult supervision. Heat-gun usage is required.
Each person will choose one scent that will be used throughout their Rainbow in a Jar candle. Finished candle may need to be picked up at a later time.
***Feel free to bring any food and drinks that you like. Additional 30 minutes required after pouring if you want to take your candles with you!
Trained Candle Cocoon staff will guide you through the "real" candle making process. While there will be some candle making instruction this class will be taught more like an experience rather then full instructional. If wanted to get started in candle making the Victorian Candle Class is best.
In this class you will be taught how to -
- Choose a Candle Cocoon fragrance oil
- Wick your specific container/fragrance using our very own Wooden Wave Wick
- Center a wick
- Proper wax mixing technique
- Proper candle coloring with candle safe dyes
- Candle pouring technique
- Color blending/mixing
- Pouring crisp stripes
All in a relaxed and fun environment. This is real candle making. You will want to wear old clothes and shoes. Aprons are provided but wax can get everywhere.

Candle making times vary greatly. It could take as little as one hour or as much as 3 hours. Candles may not be ready upon leaving and may need to be picked up at a different time.
Lastly - Please dress accordingly. Wax can get everywhere! Especially shoes (wax falls down). Please wear old cloths and shoes.
