Want to make your your Spooky Skeleton Bones Candles Melts or Embeds. It is SUPER easy and fun!
Needed
2oz Votive/Melt Wax
Scent
Double Boiler or Presto Pot
Pour Pot
Thermometer
Spooky Bones Mold
1)Simply melt about 2 ounces of your favorite Votive/Melt wax in a double boiler or Presto Pot. Soy makes the best looking bones in my opinion. Raise temperature to 180-190 for most waxes. Transfer about 2oz melted to a pour pot. Add about a teaspoon of scent. Or follow the directions on the scent bottle. Stir vigorously for 2 minutes.
2)Pour into Bones Mold
3)Let harden
4)Remove from mold
5)If Bone has a bit of hang up on the sides you can scrape it off with a fingernail or knife to make it perfect.
6)Use the bone candle melt pieces by themselves in a melter or insert them into other waxes while the other wax is still warm. Or slightly melt the top of a candle with a heat gun and place bone pieces on top.
That's it! Enjoy your fun candle melts!
Extra wax can be remelted and used again.

About the Author — Lyschel Bersch, Founder of Candle Cocoon
For more than two decades, Lyschel has been studying the chemistry of candles — not just how they burn, but why they burn the way they do. As the owner of Candle Cocoon, she has personally tested thousands of wick, wax, and fragrance oil combinations, building one of the most accurate fragrance‑specific wick charts in the industry. Her work blends science, safety, and artistry, helping makers understand the “why” behind candle behavior so they can create cleaner, safer, more reliable candles. When she’s not testing wicks, she’s developing high‑purity fragrance oils and teaching makers how to elevate their craft through knowledge, not guesswork.
