Excellent quality.
Okay so after 3 years of giving up on this fragrance for candle making, I picked up an ounce and tried another candle. Idk if I didn't know what I know now about candles or if I truly was nose blind to it at the time, but when I made my candle and burned it just now (9 day cure time and double wick 2 CDN), the scent was definitely noticeable in my living room and hallway. I've had stronger scent throws with other fragrances but this still gave a nice throw. This fragrance was one of my first loves (lol) and I'm very happy I can smell it now!
Wow, oh wow. I wasn't expecting this to be so darn lovely. This scent is not earthy sage, it is a wonderfully slightly sweet scent. I used it at 5% and had no problem getting a good HT from an itty bitty votive. So beautiful!
I had excellent performance from this fragrance. It's sweet of herbs, not sugary sweet. Very calming. Even my husband and 9yo son said they felt calm when the candle was burning. I disagree with other reviewers saying it blends with the background or weak. It filled up my entire house at 5%. The room where the candle was placed had the lingering sweetness for over a week after I removed the candle. I didn't want to burn another candle in that room again, but eventually did because I couldn't afford to lose a spot in the house for testing candles lol!!!
I feel like I could have written the review that Amy K left right before mine! Except, I use 464 wax. I know it's a softer scent, but I just want to be hit in the face with it I love it so much!! I started pouring at 7-8%, but it definitely needs a longer cure time and almost a "cure burn" (if there is a such a thing). I swear it's like I can't smell it during the first burn - I totally agree with the administrator's comment on the other review that it blends in with some background smells - but every subsequent burn is always strong enough to smell. I remember I burned it as my students were taking a test one year, and another time on a snow day at home with the kids, that's how strong the scent recall is. Now every time I burn it I think of those two days! It rusts tins, just FYI :) But it's a beautiful, soft, clean, and inviting fragrance.
