Our Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base from SFIC is a premium, versatile base loved by makers for its clarity, smooth texture, and dependable performance. This detergent‑free formula melts easily, accepts color and fragrance beautifully, and can be made opaque with Titanium Dioxide for a more traditional “soap” look.

Sold by weight — available in 1 lb individually wrapped blocks or randomly cut, easy‑to‑use pieces for bulk orders.

👉 To guarantee wrapped blocks, purchase the 40 lb wrapped case. Multiples of pounds will include random sizes.

Coconut Oil • Sustainable Palm Oil • Safflower Oil • Glycerine (kosher, vegetable origin) • Purified Water • Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent) • Sorbitol • Propylene Glycol (from vegetable glycerine) • Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier) • Oat Protein

All ingredients are biodegradable and SLS/SLES‑free.

⚙️ Process Aids

SFIC uses small, non‑essential process aids only as needed to improve remelting, re‑batching, and final appearance. These may include Bio Propylene Glycol (made entirely from vegetable glycerine).
Excluded from our FREE soap bases: Cocamidopropylamine Oxide, Disodium Sulfosuccinate, and Cocamidopropyl Betaine — all made from renewable vegetable sources.

❄️ Cold‑Weather Shipping Note

Because we’re based in Wisconsin, your soap base may arrive brittle from freezing during transit — this is normal and does not affect quality. Always test a small amount before making a large batch.

If brittle from freezing:

• Single Pour Bar Soap: Use as‑is. The finished bar will be harder and longer‑lasting. Optionally, add 3–5% water or glycerine to restore original texture.
• Loaf Soap (to be sliced): Add 7–10% water or glycerine for smooth slicing. Test higher amounts before adding color or fragrance.

Adding more glycerine increases sweating but also enhances moisturization.
Natural color variation may occur.

1. Melt the soap base gently in a microwave or double boiler.
2. Add your favorite colors, fragrances, or additives.
3. Pour into molds and allow to cool completely.
4. Unmold and enjoy your custom, creamy goat milk soap!
