Olive oil is believed by many to create a soap that moisturizes the skin and produces excellent lather. Due to the high olive‑oil content, a light, attractive pale‑yellow color may be noticeable and will deepen slightly over time. This base also has a distinctive natural olive‑soap aroma. Because of the nature of natural products, color may vary from batch to batch.

Sold by weight. Available as individually wrapped 1‑lb bars or bulk logs for larger batches.

• Olive Oil (Grade A Extra Virgin)

• Coconut Oil

• Sustainable Palm Oil

• Safflower Oil

• Glycerine (kosher, vegetable origin)

• Purified Water

• Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent)

• Sorbitol

• Propylene Glycol (from vegetable glycerine)

• Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier)

• Oat Protein

⚙️ Process Aids

Used only in small, as‑needed amounts to improve remelting, re‑batching, and final appearance. These may include Bio Propylene Glycol (from vegetable glycerine). Excluded in FREE soap bases:

• Cocamidopropylamine Oxide

• Disodium Sulfosuccinate

• Cocamidopropyl Betaine

All materials are biodegradable, and no SLS or SLES are used.

❄️ Cold‑Weather Shipping Note

Because we’re located in Wisconsin, your soap base may arrive brittle from freezing during transit. This is normal and does not affect performance. Always test a small amount before making a large batch.

If brittle from freezing:

Single Pour Bars (not slicing): • Use as‑is for a harder, longer‑lasting bar • Or add 3–5% water or glycerine to restore original texture

Loaf Soap (to be sliced): • Add 7–10% water or glycerine for smooth slicing • Higher amounts may be used — test before adding color or fragrance

More glycerine = more moisturizing, but also more sweating.

📦 Packaging

Your soap base may arrive as one solid piece or several smaller pieces, depending on the batch. The 40 lb wrapped case includes 40 individually wrapped 1‑lb bars for easy handling and storage.
