Golden Jojoba Oil has a golden hue and bland aroma that are the direct result of the lack of chemical processing. The jojoba nut oil is manually cold pressed (extracted) and filtered. Golden Jojoba Oil is often thought to be best quality of Jojoba Oil due to the lack of chemical or heat processing.

The Jojoba nut from which the oil is extracted often goes by pignut, goat nut, deer nut, wild hazel, quinine nut, coffeeberry, and the plant can be called the gray box bush.
